How long will they last?
Your eyelashes naturally shed approx. every 2-3 weeks so we recommend scheduling your fills for this time frame. Filling your lashes is just like filling your nails!
A full set is scheduled for an average of 2.5 hours and a fill is scheduled for 75 min.
If you book a fill for a specific timeframe but exceed the days from your last appointment you will automatically fall into the next fill category!
What are eyelash extensions?
Lash Extensions are synthetic strands that are made to replicate a natural eyelash. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. Single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.
How long will a set of eyelash extensions last?
When applied by a professional, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, refills should only be required every 2 to 4 weeks. The concept is very similar to getting your nails filled.
How often should I get my lash extensions filled?
We recommend getting a refill every 2 weeks for constant full lashes. A refill is needed to fill in any lashes that have fallen due to the natural cycle of your own lashes. Fill appointments require an average of 75 minutes.
Are eyelash extensions safe?
We only uses pharmaceutical grade adhesive which never comes in contact with your skin. Eyelashes are adhered about 1mm away from your skin.
Can I apply mascara to my lash extensions?
Mascara is not really required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara. In fact, one of the many benefits of eyelash extensions is that you do not need to use mascara. If you must apply mascara, however, only use water-based mascara. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA as they can dissolve the bonding agent used and they can shorten the life of your eyelash extensions. Use care when washing off the water-based mascara and only use a water based eye makeup remover.
Can I swim, shower, exercise or visit a spa with my lash extensions?
Yes. The bonding agent used to apply your eyelash extensions is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise etc.
How soon after I had my lash extension applied can I wash my face?
We recommend that you do not wash your eye area for about 24-48 hours after the eyelash application. A special waterproof bonding agent is used. Glue does not contain any fumes or irritants and is long lasting.
How do I take care of my eyelash extensions?
Do not get lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours
Avoid hot steam or sauna
For longer lasting lashes, limit the use of running water directly on your lashes
Avoid rubbing your eyes excessively
Use water based eye makeup remover
Do not perm your lashes
Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler
Do not pull on your lashes
How long will it take to apply eyelash extensions and how is it done?
The application process for lash extensions normally takes about 2.5 hours for a full set of lashes and 75 minutes for a fill. You will lay comfortably on a massage table with your eyes closed. Relaxing ambiant music is played while the professional technician applies your lash extensions. Your lower lashes will be covered. The extensions will be then applied to your upper lashes one at a time.
How do I choose the look I want?
Eyelash extensions are available in a number of lengths and thickness. Your technician will consult with you to understand what type of style you are interested in. The overall look of the lashes is very natural.
I wear contacts. Can I still get lash extensions?
Yes! Since lash extensions do not touch your skin, they do not conflict or interfere with your contacts or normal daily activities.
